Mobile Crane Driver Operator

This course is for anyone who requires training in operating a Mobile Crane. Suitable for those who have not received any formal instruction. Upon successful completion of the course you will be able to operate and maintain a Mobile Crane safely and productively. The course is delivered through a combination of classroom-based tutorials and practical training. Successful completion of the course entitles participants to operate mobile cranes to an internationally recognised standard. The successful candidate whether he or she takes the experienced route or training route will receive a 2 year ID card with certificate. Depending on awarding body or in house.

Non Destructive Testing(NDT)

Magnetic particle Inspection (MPI): Can detect surface and subsurface flaws. Surface preparation is less critical than it is in penetrant inspection. Large surface areas of complex parts can be inspected rapidly.
Dye Penetrant Testing (DPI): Used to locate cracks, porosity, and other defects that break the surface of a material and have enough volume to trap and hold the penetrant material. Liquid penetrant testing is used to inspect large areas very efficiently and will work on most nonporous materials.
Ultrasonic Testing (UT): Used to locate surface and subsurface defects in many materials including metals, plastics, and wood. Ultrasonic inspection is also used to measure the thickness of materials and otherwise characterize properties of material based on sound velocity and attenuation measurements. Thickness gauging and flaw detection.

Slinger/Signaller

This course is for anyone who requires training in slinging & signalling. It is suitable if you have received no formal instruction. If you wish to refresh your skills, we offer a short duration course. This course is an ideal entry point into the lifting industry.
This course will give you foundation training and assessment in slinging and signalling.
Successful completion of the course entitles participants to proceed to lifting duties to an internationally recognised standard. The successful candidate whether he or she takes the experienced route or training route will receive a 2 year ID card with certificate. Depending on awarding body or in house.

Lift Supervisor

This course is suitable for supervisors and managers with responsibility for lifting operations with many years experience in the field. On completion of this 5 day course the candidate will have full understanding of lift duties ,risk assessments method statements lift plans. It will also provide you with the ability to interpret and apply sections 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the BS 7121 Safe Use of Cranes guidelines. Successful completion of the course entitles participants to proceed to lifting duties to an internationally recognised standard. The successful candidate will receive a 2 year ID card with certificate. Depending on awarding body or in house.

Appointed person

This course is designed for experienced lift supervisors who wish to undertake the planning of all lifting operations.
The course will enable the candidate to understand in detail regulation 8, loler/ puwer.
Please note the candidate must have a 5 year minimum of lifting operations.
Successful completion of the course entitles participants to proceed to lifting duties [planning] to an internationally recognised standard. The successful candidate will receive a 2 year ID card with certificate. Depending on awarding body or in house.

Rigging & Lifting

On completion of the course the delegate will: Be aware of current legislation and safety regulations as they apply to lifting equipment and lifting accessories. Be able to recognize visual defect and/or weakness of lifting equipment and lifting accessories, Conversant in methods of maintenance and storage of lifting equipment and accessories, capable of implementing the criteria for the rejection of faulty lifting equipment and accessories.
Practical slinging and operating exercises including the correct use of angles, Selecting and using synthetic slings, Pre operational checklists. Depending on awarding body or in house.
Successful completion of the course entitles participants to proceed to rigging/ lifting duties to an internationally recognized standard. The successful candidate whether he or she takes the experienced route or training route will receive a 2 year ID card with certificate.

HSE on Site Crane Operations

This course is intended for construction engineers, supervisors, and owners, who want to learn more about crane safety on construction sites, and how to develop comprehensive crane safety plans that are both safety-program-compliant and project-specific. The program will also provide technical background relative to crane operations, legal and regulatory explanations; and expert guidance to deal effectively with all players on the project from owner to subcontractor. The primary objective of our training programs is to provide each participant with information and skills that can be put to immediate use.

Working at Height (WAH)

Working at Height refers to any place where a person could fall from any distance that’s likely to cause personal injury i.e. work being done on a ladder or roof, on or around an opening in a floor or a hole in the ground.

It remains one of the biggest causes of workplace injury and death. It continues to be a major health & safety concern for many businesses so it’s in your best interests to ensure all work at height done is properly planned, supervised and carried out in a way that keeps the operator safe.

Whether you work at height as part of your job or supervise those who do, Working at Height Training is essential. It covers the basic principles of Health & Safety, the legal obligations of both employers and employees and it provides guidance designed to keep everyone safe.

Telescopic Handler Operator

This Course is suitable if you have received no formal Instruction. If you already have experience operating a Telescopic Handler we offer a short duration course to enable you to refresh and update your skills.
This course will give you foundation training and assessment in operating and maintaining telescopic handlers through a combination of classroom based tutorials and practical instruction as per L117.
Successful completion of the course entitles participants to proceed to lift and transfer duties to an internationally recognised standard. The successful candidate whether he or she takes the experienced route or training route will receive a 2 year ID card with certificate. Depending on awarding body or in house.

Forklift Operator

Our forklift truck training and testing courses are delivered by fully accredited and experienced instructors as per L117. We offer training courses for novices through to experienced operators including those who just require a re-test to update their card.

Rigging Loft Management

The course includes maintenance and inspection of loose lifting equipment generally found in all rigging lofts.
To provide delegates with greater knowledge and understanding of the legal and practical requirements of running and controlling a rigging loft on an offshore or a shore based workplace.
